I just remembered how rubbery an uncooked chicken bone is...
I bet the government would give me half a million bucks to study how chicken 
bones become brittle during cooking and could harm dogs if ingested. ;)

if it is cooked, not raw.  if a dog catches a chicken outside and eats it,
