I hear that there is often a leak over #4 but that would be the back cylinder on the driver's side of the vehicle. The heater hose apparently often drips onto that spot if the clamp is not tight enough. Was looking on a Ford forum last evening. Have not done anything about it yet - just driving the 300D but need to see if I can have a look tonight. Have a scan tool so will see what it says first. Should buy a set of plugs at the very least and install them anyway - but I hear that is not a fun job - especially the first time one does it. Anyway, the crud buildup from evaporating the water was fouling that plug.? this was on a 99 F150, here in Phoenix, where opportunities for driving through standing water are infrequent.
