I don't recall your land being large enough to have 'huge walnut' trees far
enough from all the buildings to invite uninsured amateur cutters onto your
property. Nothing like a tree through the roof to spoil your day.

I'd consult an arborist about having any dangerous limbs removed and keep the
trees unless they are dying or something. Like I read on a tree forum yesterday
when a fellow was asking how to cheaply get a couple of silver maples removed
"It might be best to keep the trees, save your money and do more reading on the
benefits trees provide."
I was surprised at the outpouring of support for these two trees, of a species
that I considered worthless. (I think Silver Maple should be cut down to make
room for real trees, like Sugar Maple, Walnut, or Cherry)
Killing a nice stand of American Walnut, now that's just sacrilege.

If the trees can easily be felled in one piece, you might want to find out how
much they are worth to sell as timber. (assuming they don't have metal embedded
in them)
