Volvo/Limey? For some reason, all I can think of is Marcos, which bought some I-6 Volvo engines for US market cars, but had their own frames (with real metal by the time they put Volvo engines in them) and fiberglas bodies. I really wanted one back in 1970 when Car and Driver did an article on it.
