Tonight I finally got around to taking apart the odo that Andrew sent me. Which reminds me I need to send him a check.... Anyway it looks like the metal wheel is loose on the shaft, I've taken it apart and of course lost the relative position of the wheels to each other. Regardless there only seem to be 1 that are different than the others, the miles and tens of miles wheels, the miles wheel is the first one after the metal wheel. The tens of miles wheel has a spring like thing in it which I think makes it next. I'd appreciate confirmation though... Curt, Can't help you on the wheel coordination as my fix, now going on 12 years, is to just get a drop of super glue on the tip of a toothpick and apply it to the shaft and gear hub that is loose. It has to be the wicking kind of super glue that you will see disappear into the hub. I can't remember what kind of glue but I now have a spare ODO to play with and I will try a few types to see if I can find it again. I have been touting this idea for a long time and I know others have been successful so if someone has the brand name, let's hear from you.
