That's odd. Usually the dishwasher enters the drain right at the bottom of the sink before the u tube. Anyway just follow the dishwasher drain hose and the clog must be between there and the sink.

There has to be a cross pipe from the trap to the main sewer that is still plugged. I cant get into it with my little snake.
