The easy way to set it is to tighten the retainer nut while turning  
the wheel until you get significant resistance, loosen, tighten again  
(to make sure it's not gonna "creep" loose), and when the wrench  
stops in the same place each time, back off 1/3 turn, tighten lock  
screw.
