No Kaleb, in 68 they were closer to $1400. Buy 74 you had to pay $2400 for a 
new bug. The supers were even more expensive.
 Here in Oklahoma if your spending that kind of money on an good old air 
cooled bug it better be car show quality! The west cost has a much higher 
markup on their VW's though.
 What part of the country are we talking about Sunil?
