The SR-71 was designed in 1962 without the aid of CAD-CAM, so with all of the computer power available to top secret design teams now, I wonder what they can come up with? Maybe not as good, you never know. Now a days, I think engineers rely more on a computers ability than their own. Engineers of yore were more savvy I think.
