Not only excessive moisture in the house, but lint, too. BTW, there is an attachment for the duct that can recover most of that heat and still exhaust the moisture and lint outside. It's an X-type duct with heat exchanger in the middle - dryer air goes outside, the heat stays inside, but you don't get something for nothing - 'have to run a small fan, I think, to move house air through the heat exchanger.
