Yep- I've got a '92 300e/2.6, and while I'd have preferred a '93 2.8 service records sold me on my car. If all other things are equal, get the 2.8 (starts in '93) or better yet, 94/95 3.2 but be aware of the biodegradable engine wiring harnesses. The 2.6 is a decent car, but gutless.
