First, you need a 64 bit CPU. Second - drivers are now available in 64 bit Vista for a lot of hardware, but I wouldn't bet on XP. I've only run across one 32 bit program that wouldn't run in 64 bit Vista, and it was some shareware program. However, a 64 bit OS in a PC or laptop won't get you much unless you have 4 or more GB of RAM -----
