Yes, I've been thinking, too, that I may have to remove it from the underside. 'Been reluctant to try that so far 'cause it's so hard to get to it way up in a very narrow/deep canyon on a DEEP sink. I installed it, of course, but I was very able-bodied nearly 20 years ago when I did it, and I probably installed the faucet on the sink before I put the sink in place. In fact, I built the entire kitchen and installed all of the appliances myself, by myself. I'm not nearly so able-bodied now, but I may have to do it anyway.
