didnt think of that, will see if I can find one of the appropriate length.

Better yet, replace them with metal parts from an older car. Epoxying
the plastic balljoints only postpones the inevitable.

I hate all that plastic crap in the throttle/IP/cruise/etc linkages on
the 603. It's an accident waiting to happen---when something breaks
in there, either you get full throttle or none at all. It's happened
to me once now on each of the 124s I've owned.

Next time I have my intake off I'm going on a search-and-destroy
mission for plastic. Everything will be replaced with metal. Hopefully I can do it with parts from other cars, or cobble things
together with hardware-store bits, but I'm willing to shell out for
custom replacements to be machined.

Hmmm - sounds like another possible pre-emptive parts replacement

I used epoxy to fix the plastic ball joints on
the sliding linkage between the IP and CC servo bracket.

Apparantly the linkage to the IP broke(looks like plastic) and stuck
the IP to full open throttle. <Snip> Next I will try
some JB weld or something to fix that linkage. Hope I dont have to pull
the manifold.
