My dad's Allis-Chalmers 200 started with loop glow plugs, and had on board ether plumbing. His Belarus has a kerosene fueled flame thrower in the intake manifold. Heat the manifold and run 24v to the starter, and it will start in very cold weather. The 2007 John Deere has very fast glow plugs. The early Dodge/Cummins pickups had electric heating grids in the intake manifolds, not sure what the newer ones do. (heating the air as it flowed through the grid, rather than heating the manifold like the Belarus) _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
