Just curious how can you can label yourself a "recovering Yankee" in
Iowa.  Last II looked they were pretty far north and had freezy
winters, according to LT Don...
No, no.  Yankees are from New England. Real, true, honest-to-God 
Yankees are from Northern New England with generations of ancestery 
there. The rest of us, according to real Yankees, are "flatlanders," 
no matter how far north we live.
