I replied to the email from Mercedes with a nastygram saying youse guys
had the CD, so why couldn't I buy it from them?

The lady who replied said the CD was no longer available. And sure enough,
after I figured out that the website was trying to pop up a window from
its Adobe Flash program, it isn't available. You can buy a paper service
manual for a 600 for $59.99, or a paper service manual for a 1946 170
(W136), but you can't buy a CD for a '94 car.

(BTW, the Flash program take you to
http://www.classictechlit.mbusa.com/MB/ .)

Rusty! Do you have any of the CDs available?

Craig
