It was always said, Canadians liked their minivans, and Americans prefer their SUVs. Of course, SUVs are much more popular here now too, but still more minivans than SUVs. As for pickups, vast majority here are used by contractors, or city workers.
Not really sure about the country, as there aren't a lot of working farms around here. Some fruit and veg farms a couple of hours away, but often they'll transport their goods to a farmer's market in the city, by van or cube van.
