So I have been looking for a hood and grille for my 95 E300 and there is a guy who had an ad on craigslist in Olathe KS I believe who has a E320 engine listed. I emailed him week before last asking if he had the hood. He did. I told him I would try and come up on the weekend and get it. This was last weekend. As it turned out, I could not make it so I emailed him and told him I could not drive up but wanted it and would send him payment then send a fedex call tag for it to have it picked up. Told him he would not need to worry about doing anything to the

hood, it could just ship bare. He then emails back saying something about he does not do business that way bla bla bla. I have no idea what the hell he is talking about. Said he had some other guy who wanted it anyway. Ok, whatever. So later one I find out I am going to Nebraska to pickup this suburban, I noticed on craigslist now he has an ad not only for the engine, but for the hood etc, which was posted well after he said this other guy was coming after the hood. I emailed him again and told him I was going to be up his way and could detour over and get the hood. No response. Emailed again before I left told him he if had the hood and wanted to sell it to give me a call. Never heard from the guy. What a wierdo.
