For some reason [and I really wasn't that good as a child] in all the hurricanes of the past 12 year in South Florida the worst I had was that the lights flickered three times. We were more than lucky. Kids had no power for 5 days - friends had none for 2 weeks - twice. I had to fill up 4 trash cans with small branches and leaves, and FEMA took out the two larger branches that broke off. Tires did just fine ... Anyone want to take me to Vegas?
