Yeah, I thought about doing that, too, but then I finked out.  ;<))))))
Height of the widow's walk is probably about 45 feet; elevation of the lot
is ~110 feet; my eyes are ~ 5' - 6" above my feet.  ;<)))))

BTW, Neuse River coupla miles away used to have barge traffic, etc., MANY
years ago, but that wasn't the reason for this widow's walk.  Owner/builder
just liked the Georgian style.
