BTW, Don, are you hearing any more Morse code at all, or has it all "dried up?"
BTW, again, I was so "great" at reading Morse code that when tuning in the next nav aid station while flying "puddle jumpers" (Cessnas), I'd catch the fist letter the first time I'd hear the ID, catch the second letter the second time, third letter the third time, etc. Even then, I wasn't completely comfortable 'til I heard the voice ID. Awaiting that, I'd turn the volume up a little to make sure I didn't miss it. Often though, over Ohio, I think it was, I'd get a shock - a very high-pitched woman's voice would suddenly shriek LOUDLY in my ear, "Tiverton VOR!!!"
