Having eaten an MB steering wheel back in 1971 I can assure you they are not
compatible with retaining a full set of teeth, or all parts of your jaw.
They found and reinstalled 4 out of 5 pieces of mine, and most of my teeth.

The grille and lights seem to have survived intact.  Not sure how 
pleasant eating the steering wheel would be, the shoulder belt did not 
look like it did much good.  Maybe the steering wheel is tastier than 
the windshield though..
