My favorite iteration of this story has to do with Calvin Coolidge and his YOUNG wife. The first time I was told this story, I was so young it had to be explained to me!
While touring a farm, Mrs. Coolidge expressed amazement at the mating habits of a rooster. She asked the guide to bring that point to the attention of the next group, which included her husband. "Mrs. Coolidge was fascinated that our roosters mate 10 or 15 times a day" explained the guide to Silent Cal.
