BTW, three or four days fuse # 2 (clock, radio, frnt roof light, vanity mirror light, elec. illum. control) was only one drawing (101 mA) with key off. What is elec. illum. control? 'They talking 'bout inst. illum. control (inst lighting rheostat), or what? Still haven't had chance to check any more since late yesterday when I found 120 mv on fuse B with key OFF.
What is seat jacket tube adjustment (fuse B)? What part of seat adjustment?

Well, something kills Wilton's battery in under a week. Ruined the old
battery and is working on destroying the new one.

So what's the parasitic current draw from the battery,
and which fuse doth the offender suck from? This is
an easy test with a multimeter.

The last time I chased one of those was in Jill's 560 SL.
Turned out to be the 'dome' light on one side, where the
wiring was pinched behind the lamp. The parasitic draw
was some 350mA at the worst I ever caught it at, and was
highly variable due to thermal expansion effects and
vibration. A real nasty one to find, but I should have
known to look there first (on an SL) because I've had
that particular problem before!

The chase:
