A friend has a '95 E300 and the ambient temperature sensor in the bumper is kaput. He's got a new one, but can't find where it plugs in to the main harness. The manual apparently isn't accurate for this one-year model and I haven't had a chance to look at it.
If it's anything like all the older ones I've played with (in 126, 201, and 107) it goes all the way back to the instrument cluster by itself. Otherwise, I can't help you.
