SO even after completely rebuilding the ac on the 95 6.5 turbo burb, the
ac still did not cool very well, not at all at idle. AFter going down
the road for quite a while it would start to cool. Also noticed temps
would run a little warmer than usual. So this weekend I decided to pull
the radiator out so I could spray clean the fins on it and the
condenser. Between the radiator and condenser was what appeared to be a
big rats nest or something, just packed in there in between the 2. No
wonder it was not cooling very well. Cleaned all that out, cleaned thru
the cond and radiator, put it back together, filled it up with 6 gallons
of coolant and ac seems to be cooling much better just sitting there.
Have not taken it out on the road yet to see but I bet problem is
solved. So, if your ac is not working all that great, pull the radoator
and clean things out
