<Where is the crank position sensor on that car? If you unplugged it the ignition will be dead since it's waiting for the position sensor signal.>
I think it is on the backside of the engine up against the top end of the transmission. I did unplug this from the back thinking it would need to be disconnected to remove the transmission but it didn't so I reconnected it. I don't see how I could have damaged it... I removed the small allen bolt and lifted the plastic connection off. Underneath I noticed a small flat key that fits into the plastic connection. When putting it back together I made sure the flat key fit correctly in the plastic connection and installed the allen bolt. This may be my problem but it seemed that I reinstalled the same way it was removed. How could I test to see if I have messed this sensor up?
