My 240D would start at -10F if it had Delvac 1 (or Mobil 1 5w40 which is the same stuff) but wasn't happy about it, I suspect thats about as cold as it'd go. My 190D with 5w40 M1 starts fine at -10F, I don't know the cold weather limit on that car.
I use Delvac 1300 in the 240D now since it leaks bad and won't support long duration oil changes anyway. -Curt Date: Sun, 23 Aug 2009 17:01:59 -0400 From: Peter T Arnold <pm7...@comcast.net> Subject: Re: [MBZ] Oil change cost To: Mercedes Discussion List <mercedes@okiebenz.com> Message-ID: <4a91ae47.2030...@comcast.net> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed Curt Raymond wrote: > I changed mine at 16,000 last time, probably held it too long, got a much quieter engine after the change.
