My 82 300 SD gets little use these days so I keep a bottle of Biobor in the trunk and add the specified amount at every fillup. It doesn't take much so the bottle lasts a while. The plastic bottle has a gizmo that lets you squeeze the required amount into a small chamber to pour in the tank so it's pretty convenient. I generally get it from West Marine.

I think I've used maybe five doses in three different cars. The bottle may be expired now. Marshall (USMC) and LT Don (CG) both chastised me (Navy) for not thinking to look at a marine goods place when I queried the list for a source... A pint of the stanadyne stuff was enough to keep several diesels happy for several years. How may gallons will a 5 gallon can treat, and how many years does it take you to use that many gallons of fuel? I use between 1000 and 2500 gallons a year. That is roughly 20k to 50 k a year, depending on the VeeeeHickle. But you don't need to treat every tank. Just once in a while in the summer or if you get a load of bad fuel. So a pint is good for several years. 5 gallons would probably last me 100 years. At 09:59 PM 9/17/2009, you wrote: > > ...http://www.conntect.com/fueladditives/biobor/.. > > >There you are.
