No. The plaintiff think his claims are worth a ton of money. My clients do not agree (and I agree with my client).
There will not be any settlement offers and at this point, the plaintiff's offer (if any) won't be low enough for my
clients to accept. They would rather pay me to take this to trial for three weeks, then to pay the plaintiff. They
have taken it personally. My instructions are something along the lines of "scorched earth" or full steam
ahead, or "ramming speed" or "Damn the torpedos!" or more colloquially, "Go kick their
ass!"
