In operation, is the ball pin an important part of the ignition process? I was thinking of applying a ceramic thermal barrier to the inside of a set of prechambers, and wondering if I should leave the insulation off the ball pin. From what you said above, it sounds like the ball should be left bare if I attempt this. Mitch
