I just emailed a CL seller to ask about a car. The ad contained only blurry exterior photos. I wrote something like "The car looks pretty straight from what I can see---has it ever been in an accident? How is the paint? What is the condition of the interior? Maybe you have some larger pictures that would give me a better idea of the car, so I could decide whether to come and take a look at it?"
The seller's response in its entirety: "The interior is good. I don't have any other photos!" How do these people remember to keep breathing, let alone sell cars?
