I guess I'll have to drill out the lock and then hope I can find another for this 22 year old car.
They're out there. I had to buy one for my first '78 300D because the car didn't have one when I bought it. However, I hope it doesn't come to that. Have you tried EVERY SINGLE KEY to the car that you have in your possession? this sounds puzzling to me.
