Just made me some.

Used Yukon Gold in a cold oil fry. Read in Cooks magazine that you can do this instead of using Russet in hot oil with double fry. Came out good and crisp.

Squeaky cheese is not as hard to find as I had feared. Just walked to the market a few blocks away, asked the cheese counter fellow for some and he had fresh curds for me.

Gravy is not as good as I wanted.  Will have to work on that a bit more.

In all, it was good for a cold day snack
