LOL, after the comparing cars to women thread with you being the guy who always
wants a new car I'm not sure I'd admit to that!

When I was in high school my choices were a Ford Tempo and a GMC Jimmy, guess
what I usually tried to drive when I took a young lady out? Big back seats
definately have their uses.

When I have kids and they get to be teenagers if I have boys I'm going to buy
all sub-compacts for our family, if I have girls I'll only allow them to date a
boy driving a subcompact.

I dated a girl for awhile who drove a Geo Metro. She was quite independant and
insisted on taking her car frequently. I was surprised to find how flexable I
could be when presented with proper incentive.

I really don't care for a big back seat since I'm always siting in the
drivers!

Regardless of how the fuel is ignited, diesel contains roughly 30%
more BTU's than gasoline. Any moderately efficient engine will give
more MPG's on diesel. I doubt that a compression ignition engine run
on gasoline will be 30% more efficient than current technology using a
spark plug. I'm all for increasing engine efficiency, but we are
already close to the limits imposed by physics. I expect the next
logical step will be to extract energy from the waste heat of
combustion.
