They are designed to stretch in a collision, as well, if the

I know that's not why you're changing yours, but I'd avoid belts

wreckers, even if the car they'll being plucked from looks ok. If
the car
had previously been in an accident and repaired, I bet more often
than not,
they left the old belts in.

I need to replace the shoulder belt on the drivers seat of my 91
300D.
WDBEB28D1MB364746. Actually it's the little thing that clips into
the floor
gizmo that's broken - the plastic parts. But I'm sure the whole
belt will
need to be replaced.
I was thinking about used but wonder if it's smart to use a belt
that's
been stressed? Any thoughts?
