Per Donald Snook's observation that his mother has turned into his
grandmother....
My 80+ yr old mom decided that the family should drive to Tucson for
Christmas week. She then decided that her 2005 ML350 was too used (63K
Mi) to make the trip. She bought a fire engine red 2010 GLK350. What
a pleasure to drive this new toy 1K miles!!! Averaged 23mpg at speeds
which would attract the attention of the local constabulary.
One of her comments is that the GLK is much easier for her friends to
get in and out of than the ML was, or a couple of other cars she looked
at. She doesn't have any problems -- her other toy is a first-year BMW Z-3.
