My Indy gave me another shout today, he can't find anything wrong with the
engine in my 179,000 mile $250 '84 190D except for the broken timing chain
cover. He say it wasn't even low on oil.
While he's there he's going to do the chain and guides just as a preventative
since he's there.
So I need a chain cover and belt tensioner, Bob says the cover is $300+ new.
Does anybody know if thats 2.2l specific? Anybody got one?
