David,

A few years ago I purchased a set of rebuilt Bosch from Rusty, and
promptly has local Indie check them for pressure and pattern; to my
pleasant surprise not only was the pattern fine but the pressures fell
within a 5 bar range! Unless something's changed in the last few years,
I wouldn't worry too much about it as long as you 'trust but verify'.
If you don't want the bother, order them from the dealer and be done
with it. Matt Cama has recently passed on that the dealer injectors are
of a much higher quality than the Bosch rebuilds, and Matt would know.

Subject: [MBZ] Monark injector nozzles

Hi gang,

I gather that the Bosch injectors are now generally crap, no longer
produced in Germany and with highly variable quality. There appear to be
many accounts online of this phenomenon.

What's everyone's experience with Monark nozzles? Apparently they are
made in Germany?

D.
