I've had mine for over a year now and its good. The seals aren't so great on it
but so far thats just made me pump a bit more to get all the oil out. Otherwise
its been very satisfactory.

We'll get killed for even talking about this by the $2 oil sucker crowd but I
have nowhere to plug a $2 oil sucker in since I can't drive my car into my 3rd
floor walkup apartment. So the topsider (which is actually I think "topside"
not "topsider") is a good choice for me. My mechanic was charging me $20 to
change the oil, I buy the oil, which was a fair price but paid for the topsider
after a couple uses. IIRC I paid $40 from Northern Tool.

I have been toying with getting the subject unit. I read the reviews
for
the sucker in West Marine and some of our Mariime friends are pretty
critical of the unit.

Anyone in diesel world use one before I plop down 50 smackers on this
thing?

I contacted a fellow in Ohio who rebuilds many Citroen suspension components,
including the pressure accumulators (spheres). In response to my query about
recharging the S123 & W201 accumulators, he said:

"No can do. Those are throw away accumulators. Just got to buy more."

Has anybody ever had one of these recharged, or is that only for the
fully hydropneumatic suspension accumulators like the SELs and Citroens
use?
