I bought mine from West when it was on sale - it works as it's supposed to.
;-) Last time I used it was last weekend - got the oil warmed up and it
worked perfectly. Have to pump it 40-50 strokes and release the clamp on
the hose - and the vacuum starts pumping right away. Unfortunatley, the
Topsider I have won't quite hold the full 6.5 qts I get out so I have to
empty it part way thru - no big deal. Also, remember to remove the oil
filter to release that oil into the oil pan/sump.
I used to worry that it wouldn't remove oil as effectively as removing the
drain plug - but from all the tests and this list, the Topsides is *more*
effective that just removing the drain plug.
