Oh man, don't even get me started. They localize Craigslist to the point where you need to search 20 different pages to find what you want...
New England is small enough that I'd cover most of it looking for a car but to do that I need to search: Maine New Hampshire Vermont Connecticut Rhode Island Boston Cape Cod and the Islands MA South Coast Worcester Western Mass Thats 10 searches to cover one fairly small geographic area... Crazed list will search all of them for me but Craigslist actively breaks things like Crazed list. Besides which localization doesn't explain why people only put an email address in their ads and then don't reply to it... -Curt Date: Mon, 28 Jun 2010 22:57:49 -0400 From: "Allan Streib" <[email protected]> To: "Mercedes Discussion List" <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [MBZ] craigslist Message-ID: <[email protected]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" On Mon, 28 Jun 2010 21:20 -0500, "Kaleb C. CL is intended by its founders to be a localized service. They encourage dealing only with local people you can meet or at least speak with on the phone.
