I enjoy reading the Constitution as well as the Dec. of Independence, but
the Federalist Papers I have a hard time with. Maybe it was the ones I
tried to read but I found them really confusing -
I need to try Common Sense - maybe it'll be easier for me ....

Happy Independence Day to all! Thanks Hendrick, for being the first to
observe it!
It is a good day to read Thomas Paine's Common sense, and ponder the
relationship of "greviously oppressed" in his time compared to the
trillions of useless debt we and future generations have recently been
saddled with.
It is also a good day to read the Constitution and Declaration of
Independence and begin reading the Federalist Papers.
