I was going to say the same, I've got a '52 Farmall that hasn't seen leaded
fuel in 20+ years. Hasn't ever had a lead substitute either.

I was told that years of running on leaded fuel hardened the valve seats so
they aren't a problem now. The same source also said if any head work is done
hardened (sodium filled?) should be installed so no problems will happen in the
future.

Unleaded premium will be fine.

In fact, it will work BETTER than leaded fuel, since you won't beĀ
polishing off the valve seats and honing marks with lead oxide.
