The wiring was slower to self destruct in the Diesels, but yes, 94-95 for sure, and I think 96. I don't remember the year range. Herr Doktor originally said it didn't affect Diesels, but later moderated his stance, and said that in a Diesel, it took longer for the insulation to self destruct.
