Spinning like on a stationary bike, with resistance.  Lots of resistance.

I used to spin four times a week. I haven't been in that good of shape since I 
quit. Also dropped my cholesterol a major amount, too.

It is by far the toughest workout (I think) you can do in 45 minutes. I have 
friends who do triathalons that use it for winter training.
