Anyone have recommendations for OBD code scanners? I have a CEL I need to
diagnose on the ML, the Plymouth van should also be OBD enabled.

Kaleb made reference to plugging something into the diagnostic port on a 124
(just in front of the battery). Now the 124 port is not OBD standard - what
do you use to read codes from it?

Should one get a scanner with real time read-out, or is that just for tuners
and giggles?

Anti-lock Brakes seem to have their own protocol and a scanner to read their
codes is an upgrade?

Stand-alone dedicated box, or adapter to USB to read with a laptop?
