First remove the lower cushion by depressing the two orange tabs and lifting it straight out. In the lower corner of the backrest you'll see an 8mm bolt on each side, and there's another one underneath and behind the center armrest. Once they're removed you can pull upward on the backrest to remove it. The headrests need to be lowered though.
