Removed and replaced leaking lower
radiator hose and thermostat yesterday. Just took the
car for a 20 mile Italian-type tune-up drive; 'don't think I
lost any water this time, (tank still full after run and no
drips observed) but temp. gage moves back and forth
(sometimes jumpy) between 60 and 85C; more often reading
about 65 - 70; all other gages read normally, and I can not
make the gage move/bounce by banging on inst panel above
it.
